Hatha Yoga holds each pose through several breaths to strengthen, purify and cultivate energy in the body. It aims to achieve harmony and balance in the mind, body and spirit.
Vinyasa Yoga is a fast paced series of postures that focus on the continuous flow between movement and breath rather than individual poses.
Yin Yoga is a slower paced practice where poses are held for longer periods. It's designed to stimulate the subtle body meridians, circulation in the joints and connective tissue and improve flexibility.
Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation with effortless relaxation surfing between the states of wakefulness and sleep, creating deep, blissful awareness while healing the nervous system.

Am I too old, overweight, stiff or inflexible to do Yoga?
No! Yoga is for everyone! All fitness levels, body types and ages are welcome. Whether a beginner or seasoned Yogi, we begin from where you are and work to achieve your own personal fitness and wellness goals. It is your practice. We are here to assist and guide you from exactly where you are to where you want to be. We provide you with tools to reconnect with your mind, body and soul and achieve homeostasis. All private students receive a body reading and personalized program.

My Conscious Movement Yoga classes incorporate the best of what I have learned from Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Yoga Nidra, Ascension, Trapeze/Suspension, Chakra, Gravity/Flexibility, Therapeutic, Subtle and Trauma Informed Yoga, The Neuroscience of Yoga, Advanced Anatomy, Myofascial Release, Biomechanics, Let Your Yoga Dance, Pilates, Dance, Integrated Awareness, Cortical Field Re-Education, Somatic Movement, The Feldenkrais Method and Physiotherapy. Practicing slow, conscious, safe, mindful movement that will re-train your brain and body to move with pain free ease, healing trauma and the nervous system, avoiding injuries, increasing and improving your balance, range of motion, strength, flexibility, endurance and posture. Focus is on understanding fully integrated body motion, the brains role in movement, meditation and breathing techniques. We go beyond just how the pose looks to how it feels and how it can best benefit you. My offerings provide useful, practical information and tools that you can use both on and off your mat to improve your overall health and well-being.
